Terms of use
Terms of use
Effective 28 September 2026
- Kalimāt is free to play. There are no ads and nothing to buy.
- Kalimāt is for everyone. When a child plays, a parent or guardian is responsible for their use of online play.
- Play fairly and kindly. We may remove unsuitable names or players who cheat or misbehave.
1. Agreement
By installing or using the Kalimāt app (“the app”) or this website you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy. If a child uses the app, a parent or guardian agrees on their behalf and helps them follow these terms.
2. The app
Kalimāt is an educational word-search game for learning Arabic and Qur’anic vocabulary. It is provided free of charge, without advertising and without in-app purchases. Coins, hints, stars, badges and other rewards in the game have no money value, cannot be bought, sold or exchanged, and may change as the game is improved.
3. Online play and accounts
- Online features (live games, challenges, friends, rankings and tournaments) are turned on in the app behind a simple check.
- A player name must be a first name or one of the generated names. Do not use a full name, a surname, contact details or anything unkind or inappropriate. We may change or remove a name that breaks this rule.
- Keep your email and password private. You are responsible for what happens with the player you created.
- You can turn online play off or delete the player at any time: see delete your account.
4. Fair and kind play
Please do not cheat, use tools to change scores or results, disturb other players’ games, try to break into or overload our servers, or copy the app’s content for other products. We may hide results from rankings, remove players from tournaments, or suspend or delete players who break these rules, and we may do so without notice where needed to protect other players.
5. Content
Words, meanings, pronunciations, artwork and sounds in the app belong to us or to those who licensed them to us. You may use the app for personal, family and classroom learning. We take great care with the Arabic text and translations of Qur’anic words. If you notice a mistake, please tell us at privacy@haqqword.wees.bio so we can correct it, in shā’ Allāh. The app helps with learning vocabulary and is not a replacement for studying the Qur’an with a qualified teacher.
6. Availability
We work to keep online play available, but it may sometimes be paused for maintenance or changed. Offline play keeps working. We may update the app, add or remove features, or stop offering the online service; if we stop it we will say so in the app in good time.
7. No warranty and liability
The app is provided “as is”. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses or for lost game progress, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the app, which is zero. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the consumer laws of your country.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change is important we will let you know in the app.
